I help families who are impacted by addiction find clarity, support, and a path forward—without shame, blame, or going it alone.
Greg Boudle
If you’re here because someone you love is struggling, you’re not alone—and there is a way to move forward.

My mission is simple: help families feel supported, informed, and empowered—especially when addiction has made everything feel uncertain.

Families of Addiction exists to give you practical tools, compassionate guidance, and a steady place to land—so you can protect your wellbeing while still loving the person you care about.

United Front Program

United Front is a 10-week course designed to help parents navigate the challenges of a child struggling with addiction while protecting their marriage, emotional health, and family stability. The program provides practical tools, structured guidance, and real-world strategies that help families make thoughtful decisions during difficult moments instead of reacting under pressure.

Who the course is for

This course is designed for parents whose children are struggling with substance use disorder, whether the child is currently in treatment, between treatments, or not yet seeking help. It supports both couples working together and parents navigating the situation on their own.

A note to you, if you’re exhausted
If you’ve been carrying the emotional weight of someone else’s  addiction, it can feel like you’re always bracing for the next call, the next crisis, the next disappointment. You deserve support too.
I’m Greg Boudle, and I created Families of Addiction because families often get overlooked in the addiction conversation—yet you’re the ones living it every day.

My work is focused on helping you understand what’s happening, communicate more effectively, and set boundaries that protect your home, your health, and your peace.

This isn’t about “fixing” your loved one. It’s about giving you a steady framework so you can respond with compassion and strength—without losing yourself in the process.

My path here wasn’t a straight line. It was shaped by real people, real pain, and the decision to turn that experience into support for others.

As a Recovery Life Coach, I watched families do their best with the information they had—trying to help, trying to keep the peace, trying to hold everything together.

And as a parent of an addict, I know how easy it is to slip into patterns that feel like love, but actually keep everyone stuck: rescuing, arguing, pleading, covering, or walking on eggshells.

I also know the quiet cost: anxiety, burnout, strained relationships, and the constant question—“Am I doing the right thing?”

That’s why I focus on the family system: what you can control, how to communicate, and how to create safety and stability—no matter what your loved one chooses.
If you’re feeling torn between helping and protecting yourself, you’re not failing—you’re facing something incredibly hard. You deserve a plan that doesn’t rely on hope alone.
Here’s what I believe:

The addict is much more likely to choose recovery sooner when having a strong, healthy family supporting them.

Families do better when they have language, structure, and support.

You can love someone deeply and still set boundaries. You can be compassionate and still be firm. You can stop the chaos from running your home.

Families of Addiction is where I share the tools and guidance I wish every family had access to—so you can make decisions from clarity, not panic.

(And yes—progress is real, but it’s rarely overnight.)

What makes my approach different

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice—or in blaming families for doing what they thought was best.

Instead, we focus on what’s practical and sustainable: clear boundaries, calmer communication, and support that helps you stay grounded even when things feel unpredictable.

You’ll get guidance that respects your values, your safety, and your reality—whether your loved one is in active addiction, early recovery, or somewhere in between.

Most importantly: you’ll be reminded that your wellbeing matters, too.

You don’t have to choose between loving them and protecting yourself.

When addiction is in the picture, families often get stuck in extremes: enabling or cutting off, rescuing or raging, hoping or giving up. There’s a healthier middle path.

I help you build a plan for your home and your relationships—one that reduces chaos, strengthens boundaries, and gives you language for the hard conversations.

If you’re ready for support that’s compassionate, clear, and grounded in real life, I’d love to help.

A few personal notes (because you’re working with a real person)

My work is rooted in compassion and accountability.

I believe families deserve support that’s honest, practical, and kind. You won’t get judgment here—just clear guidance and a steady voice when things feel overwhelming.

Greg Boudle
I’m calm by nature—and I bring that calm into hard conversations.

When emotions run high, it helps to have a grounded plan. I’ll help you slow things down, get clear on what matters, and choose responses you can feel good about later.

Family is at the center of why I do this.

Addiction impacts everyone in the home. My goal is to help you protect your relationships, your health, and your future—while still holding space for hope and healing.
